WHAT'S NEW?

  • Congratulations to Tyler, Melanie and Sadie Davidson of Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, on the birth of their baby girl Sage Annie on April 8, 2017. Proud Grandparents are Vernon and Eileen Davidson of Davidson Gelbvieh.
  • More baby congratulations go out to Jessica and Duncan Pearson, Calmar, Alberta, on the birth of their son, Avry Walter Michael Pearson on April 27, 2017. Proud grandparents are Art & Marie Andruchow, of Limestone Farms.
  • 225 Dam of Merit Award recipients and 38 Dam of Distinction Award recipients are published in the Fall 2016 Gelbvieh Guide. These cows represent the very elite of the breed.
  • The "Orange Gelbvieh" RFID tags are now available to order online. They are sold in bags of 25 tags and purchasing them is very simple. Just log onto the CCIA website, go to their tag order, and follow the prompts, or phone 1-877-909-2333 to set up your web store account. Tag orders are payable by credit card only.
